DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU acts as an intermediary in organizing tourist services, including transportation, accommodation, and activities, on behalf of our clients. Our role is to coordinate these services with external providers, without assuming direct responsibility for their execution. The agency is not responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, accidents, or any type of interruption resulting from force majeure events, such as natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies, social conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control. In these cases, no refunds will be issued. For safety reasons, DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any part of the itinerary if conditions warrant it. Likewise, the guide or coordinator may temporarily or permanently exclude any participant whose behavior (including intoxication) jeopardizes the safety of the group or their own well-being. DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU assumes no responsibility for pre-existing illnesses, physical or mental disabilities, or any medical condition that limits participation in the scheduled activities. Therefore, no claims or refunds related to such situations will be accepted, especially if they were not communicated prior to booking.Passenger Responsibilities
It is the traveler's responsibility to have all the necessary documentation and meet all requirements for their trip, including, but not limited to:- Valid passport
- Visa (if applicable)
- Valid ISIC student card (to access student rates)
- Andean Migration Card (TAM), issued upon entry to the country
- Required vaccination certificates
- Notarized authorization for minors traveling without their parents
- Failure to provide any of these documents may result in delays, fines, cancellations, or the inability to access certain services, without the right to a refund.
Fare Policies
- All fares are quoted in US dollars (USD) and are per person.
- Prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.
- Promotional rates do not apply on special dates such as Easter, Christmas, New Year's, Independence Day, long weekends, or other high-demand events.
Age classification:
- Infants (0 to 23 months): Free of charge, meals, bed, and seat are not included.
- Children (3 to 10 years and 11 months): Special rate (CHD). Share a room with adults.
- Adults 11 years and older: Considered adults.
- All minors must present a valid ID at the time of travel.
Reservation, Deposit, and Cancellation Policies
- All reservations must be made exclusively by email to: reservasdelighttravelperu@gmail.com
- The following information is required:
- Full name
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Date of birth
Deposits
- For Inca Trail reservations, alternative routes, or tour packages, a non-refundable deposit of USD 150 per person is required.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours before the start of the tour, either at our offices or via bank transfer.
Student Discounts
To access the student rate, it is mandatory to send a scanned copy of a valid ISIC card (with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel). If the document is not presented at the time of booking, the entrance fee will be charged at the adult rate, with no possibility of subsequent adjustment.Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to: reservasdelightperutravel@gmail.com. The applicable charges are as follows: Cancellation Policy and Applicable FeesMore than 30 days before the trip: USD 150 (non-refundable deposit)
15 to 10 days before: 60% of the total cost
9 to 7 days before: 80% of the total cost
6 days or less before: 100% of the total cost
Rescheduling and Refunds
- Refunds are processed according to the contract signed at the time of booking.
- Promotional or non-refundable rates are non-changeable and non-refundable.
- The initial deposit of USD 150 is always non-refundable, even in cases of force majeure.
- Trips scheduled on special dates (holidays, peak seasons, national events, etc.) are booked under non-refundable conditions, as indicated in the corresponding quote.
